So, I'm now leaning into the theory that it was a bank error. Meaning, if there was a hacker, they weren't using my computer. There was no activity from my imac, other than when I used it. Yes, I tried reinstalling the newly downloaded Avast version. Mail cant be collected with Avast Email Shield enabled, and the Avast Webshield seems to be behind frequent disconnects. Concretely, 19 of the VPN proxies and the proxies for mail and web. UPDATE: I was able to find on bank's app. It is not only Avast free version, also Avast Premium Security for Mac does not work anymore. But I find it a weird coincidence that the night before I was on the bank's site and the next day I have unauthorized transactions.
